I heard this on the radio this morning on my way to work. It is just plain ridiculous.
Seems to me that they went to celebrate the bailout that we have to pay for.
You know what? Yeah, it is a stupid and tone-deaf thing for AIG to do. But if this $440,000 makes you angry, then what emotions do you have left for the $700 billion bailout? The bailout is equal to the AIG spa junket 1.6 million times over.
It is annoying, but it isn’t important.
well, it doesnt really mean anything about the company, those are the executives not the owners, and i guess they like to spend their money and celebrate, but i think those bastards should have bailed their own asses out….
It makes me very angry!! They should pay that money back ASAP. Tax payers paying for CEO’s rub-and-tugs!!
i ‘m offended this is not the way a corperate office works things spending $440,000 that is just crazy but it is not your fault so u know but in other words i ‘m from wisconsin so i have not heard that by what your saying i can understand that is a anger issue with most people in california like yourself so yes that just is wrong we need the money today for other needs in the ecomony so i am sorry i can’t be much help but at least i really did try to answer your comment about the big spending spree from a company in california thanks for your understanding of my opinion
It is making it hard for a person whom has to deal with AIG to cope.My husband is insured through them and is down with a back injury and they are treating him like he did this on his own and just pay him next to nothing already,but they can take a vacation like this ,Hum?
Why do you think they and other institutions) were in financial trouble in the first place? It sure wasn’t because of personal spending cutbacks, budget tightening and foregoing luxuries in their daily lives. So this doesn’t make me any more angry than the cause of the mess USA is in…in fact, this kind of waste was to be expected. Furthermore, does placing 700 billion dollars under the control of people who have already demonstrated inability to handle money, wave any red flags? What else can we expect….it’s bound to happen.

The Republicans are TOTALLY desperate ! Their numbers are going down and down and down in the polls.
Plus they are watching CHUCK BALDWIN come UP AND UP AND UP in the polls.
McCain is no longer worried about Obama … he’s worried about 3rd Party BALDWIN who ALREADY has been getting mail-in votes at an astounding rate. The Constitution Party is turning out to be something to be reckoned with and the McCain Political Weaponry is SWITCHING from Obama and his sights are NOW on Baldwin.
Makes sense doesn’t it? BALDWIN is against NAFTA, NAU,AMERO, and the CFR. BALDWIN is the ONLY candidate who is NOT a member of the CFR! As such, BALDWIN is the ONLY candidtate who is COMPLETELY on the side of the American People. BALDWIN is supported by Ron Paul. BALDWIN is FOR the Environment and wants to REVERSE all the damage that BUSH did with environmental laws. BALDWIN is AGAINST the oppression of the People by the Ruling Families and by the corporations, unlike Obama AND McCain.
McCain AND Obama failed to figure ON THIS ONE! THE WRITE-IN VOTES FOR BALDWIN are already at the highest levels of ANY write in candidate in the history of the polls. IN a few days the votes for Baldwin ALONE will outnumber ALL of the write in votes for ALL of the write in candidates for the last FORTY TWO years!
Baldwin is making this election a LANDSLIDE!
No one cares about the fighting and bickering and name calling between Obama and McCain … all eyes are on Chuck Baldwin … that totally unheard of guy who is racing up the ladder of the electoral polls. CBS, NBC, AND ABC, are all fighting to keep Baldwin suppressed but they CANNOT! They don’t want him to be heard but people are going to his website and finding out all about him.
Who would have thought that a minuscule Baptist minister could gather so MANY VOTES! He is KICKIN Tail Sides!
Do NOT throw away your vote on McCain or Obama … go with the WINNER! VOTE FOR CHUCK BALDWIN IN NOVEMBER … HE IS NOW THE PERSON FOR OBAMA AND MCCAIN TO BEAT!
Bring DOWN THE NEW WORLD ORDER! VOTE FOR CHUCK!!!
