*extra curricular.

I think you have a very good chance in getting in. The Sat II’s really help. I wish the best with your dad.

To be honest, I think you have a VERY GOOD chance of getting into those schools and more. You are very well qualified. Your SAT scores may or may not matter to much but do know that you scored wayy higher than I did. I scored about 1500 and got into very school schools like UCB, UCLA, UCSD, and UCSB. (I just started this fall in Berkeley.) Your personal statement topics are veryy strong. Please develop them when you write your personal statements, it is very crucial for the readers to understand your situation, how it affected you, and ([how you overcame the obstacles] - most important!)

Good luck with your college apps!! I’m very confident that you’ll do well. :)

I think the question is, is what do you want to do? UCLA and USC are great colleges. USC is a private university, a lot to do with sciences and politics. UCLA is a public college and is great for anyone who wants to be involve in film and also offers studies in English/Literature. (Both colleges offer them, but they’re more famous for certain subjects/majors). And if you are like me, who’s undecided on what to do despite entering college soon, you should just choose which ever one you think will put you on a high pedestal in life. It’ll be hard, but it’s what you want really. Hope I helped!!!
